Our Top 10 Pictures from the Formula 1 70th Anniversary Grand Prix
August 11, 2020Here's a run down of our favorite 10 images from last weekend's action at Silverstone.
As usual, Haas F1 official photographer Andy Hone has chosen his top capture of the weekend which this time sees Kevin racing through the Silverstone greenery.
Andy's Take: "F1 70 was an interesting challenge for us on track. Shooting a Grand Prix weekend where there isn’t often a lot of dynamic angles for one weekend let alone two, it was really about utilising what we had and trying to get different angles and heights on the corners that we do have available to us.
"There were also a couple of new shots to be found in places we wouldn’t normally be able to access because of the lack of infrastructure setup to enable spectators.
"I was really happy to find this pan shot in an empty campsite shooting through the trees, bushes and catch fencing on 1/15th of a second. It just goes to show if you look hard enough you can find new things on a track you’ve shot for years."

Grid rush: The Formula 1 grid might often look like a glamorous place to be, but for the mechanics and technicians it’s always a busy hive of activity. Here, Kevin’s crew get the grid trolleys set up ahead of his arrival at the back of the grid following his laps to grid.
