Our top 10 pictures at the Austrian Grand Prix
July 6, 2020Each Grand Prix, we'll bring you our top ten images from the race weekend and the beautiful Austrian countryside offers the perfect vista for our first selection.
We'll also ask Haas F1's official photographer, Andy Hone, to select his stand out picture from each event.
This week, Andy has chosen this shot of Kevin Magnussen, captured racing through the gaps in the trees on the Red Bull Ring circuit.
Andy's take: "Shot through the trees at the last corner, it’s a nice challenge to capture the cars darting out from the previous corner only using their noise as a guide, then panning the car blind into view.
"Especially after such a long break it’s good to blow the cobwebs off with this one."
Getting used to the new norm: Romain Grosjean and his engineers take on their Thursday track-walk, with the addition of face masks.
At least two meters please: Romain and Kevin take questions from Tom Clarkson and F1 journalists via video calls, in the temporary new-look FIA Press Conference, which featured all 20 drivers this week, one team at a time.
Dancing with the wild flowers: Kevin is captured through the flower meadow during Friday practice.
Vista King: Romain powers along the back-straight with the beautiful backdrop of the Styrian mountains during Friday practice.
On the open road: Romain is pictured pulling out of the pit lane on Saturday.
End Racism: Romain and Kevin join the rest of the F1 field before the race, in a stance against racism.
Back on the grid: Kevin and Guenther have a pre-race chat as the Haas F1 Team crews prepare for the start of the race.
Get in formation: Romain leads Kevin on the pre-race formation lap.
"It's lights out and away we go!": The moment we'd all been waiting for as the 2020 Formula 1 season finally got underway.
