New Line-Up for MoneyGram Haas F1 Sim Racing Team ahead of 2025 F1 Sim Racing World Championship
January 8, 2025Shanaka Clay, Tamás Gál, and Joris Croezen to represent American Sim Racing Squad.
The 2025 F1 Sim Racing World Championship will kick off MoneyGram Haas F1 Team’s tenth season in Formula 1, and an all new line-up will contest the hotly anticipated series, beginning January 14 at the EFG studio in Stockholm, Sweden.
Shanaka Clay, Tamás Gál, and Joris Croezen will make their racing debut for MoneyGram Haas F1 Sim Racing Team, supported by R8G Esports, competing against the grid across 12 rounds of racing over three events, competing for the title as well as part of the $750,000 prize pot.
Shanaka Clay started karting at eight years old and has previously competed against fellow British drivers Lando Norris and George Russell. A two-time PSGL F1 winner, the Brit is no stranger to F1 Sim Racing having previously competed in the series as recently as 2022. Hungarian racer Tamás Gál is a debutant for 2025, with the Hungarian being a former PSGL F2 Champion. 17-year-old rookie Joris Croezen, from the Netherlands, completes an exciting and dynamic line-up.
Last season, MoneyGram Haas F1 Sim Racing Team finished fifth in the team standings securing two wins in the process, and this season will be looking to improve their form as well as developing young talent.

Tamás Gál, MoneyGram Haas F1 Sim Racing Team driver, said: “I'm thrilled to join Haas for my first F1 Esports season. My main goals are to learn as much as possible, and consistently deliver strong performances. I’m fully committed to helping the team progress and have a solid season.”
Joris Croezen, MoneyGram Haas F1 Sim Racing Team driver, said: “I’m really excited to compete with MoneyGram Haas F1 Sim Racing Team. After great preparation, we will try to get the best results possible for the team. The season will be intense, and as one of the few rookies on the grid alongside very experienced drivers, I will focus on making constant progress, on being consistent, and to fight for a podium.”
